IMPORTANT! IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING RABBITS FROM ME, PLEASE READ MY SALES POLICY. I apologize if some of these policies seem rigid/strict, but unfortunately they are necessary in order to complete transactions smoothly.
A NONREFUNDABLE (Exceptions read below) deposit is required to place a hold on a rabbit. Deposits are 50% of the price of the rabbit and MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 days of inquiry. If the deposit has not been received within that 7 day time period, THAT RABBIT WILL BE RELEASED FOR SALE again. Deposits can be in the form of personal check or money order. These deposits are nonrefundable, except if I have sexed a baby wrong that you've already put a deposit on, or in the VERY RARE case that illness/injury/death happens to the rabbit. Final payment of the balance owed will be due in cash or money order (no personal checks on final payment) when the rabbit is picked.
RABBITS MUST BE PICKED UP IN A TIMELY MANNER--a pickup date must be given. I cannot hold rabbits indefinitely, even if a deposit is received. If I cannot contact the buyer (e.g. no response to emails, etc.), I will have no choice but to cancel the transaction and place the rabbit back up for sale at my discretion!
REFUNDS---All of my rabbits leave my rabbitry healthy. Once they leave my rabbitry, I will guarantee their health for 7 days. If the rabbit becomes ill or death occurs within that 7 days, I will refund your money or will replace the rabbit with one of equal value.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT PRICES ON RABBITS WILL VARY DEPENDING ON MANE QUALITY, BODY TYPE, AND COLOR. Obviously, the better quality rabbits will cost more than the pet quality rabbits. My prices for F3 SM Lionheads START at ($25-30). My prices for F3 DM Lionheads START at ($40). Purebred DM Lionheads START at ($45). On lionheads that have no hold or deposit on the prices are subject to change as they grow depending on the better and more promising they get. Mismarks/Sports will typically be sold at a discounted price.
If the text under a rabbit's picture says:
HOLD, this means that I have received a nonrefundable deposit on that particular rabbit and am awaiting pickup/delivery.
PENDING means someone has expressed an interest in that particular rabbit, but no downpayment/deposit has been received, so there is no formal transaction and you may still inquire about that rabbit. If a downpayment/deposit has not been received within 7 DAYS of the inquiry of the prospective buyer(unless that buyer and I have worked something out), then the rabbit WILL BE PLACED FOR SALE AGAIN and will no longer be PENDING.
SOLD means full payment has been received on that rabbit.
PLEASE NOTE--CERTAIN colors of young rabbits are sometimes hard to state with absolute certainty. I do my best (and even get help in this arena!) to state the color as it presents NOW, but it is possible the color/shading may change somewhat as the rabbit continues to grow and when it molts. This is beyond my control and I cannot predict how these rabbits will turn out as they get older. I will do my best with what the rabbit is presenting with at the time of the sale. Mane quality is another issue that we Lionhead breeders are working on, in trying to keep the Lionhead from "losing" its mane after it molts and grows into adulthood. This is again something that I cannot predict in each rabbit, therefore I cannot guarantee what type of mane quality it may or may not have as it gets older.
Kits will be weaned and ready to go by 6 weeks of age. You will need to provide transportation/pick up for them IN A TIMELY MANNER, unless other agreeable arrangements have been made between us. I do not ship rabbits. Once rabbits are weaned and ready to go, I will only hold them for 2 weeks without charging for room and board.
I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY TRANSACTION at my discretion.
Most of my rabbits come with a full pedigree. A couple of my rabbits may only come with a 1/2 pedigree.
